About the Job:
Grameen Foundation is looking for a Finance Director. S/he will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the finance and accounting department, including, but not limited to, the annual audit, budget process, financial reporting, grant reporting, field office accounting, and centralized payroll and accounting.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze key financial indicators and highlight trends relevant to the performance of Grameen Foundation;
  • Manage the organization’s finances for long-term sustainability;
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses for senior management and finance committee of the board in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Manage the annual audit process, both in field offices and at a consolidated headquarters level;
  • Lead corporate budgeting and mid-year review process in coordination with annual planning process;
  • Create tools for departmental and project managers to use to develop their budgets;
  • Manage grants compliance manager in all donor reporting, indirect rate development, and compliance with donor requirements;
  • Manage finance and operations officer in overseeing all overseas finance operations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related experience;
  • CPA and/or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance preferred;
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or financial management;
  • Significant experience in the not-for-profit sector.”
